  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 30 pearl onions, blanched in boiling water 2 minutes, drained, peeled
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450F.

    Melt butter in large oven-proof skillet over medium heat.

    Add onions and saute until golden, about 12 minutes.

    Stir in 1/3 cup water.

    Transfer skillet to oven and cook until onions are tender and glazed, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
