- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 6 pork chops (each 3/4-inch thick)
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 c. water, divided
- 1 pouch dry onion soup mix
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 medium apple, cored and sliced
Directions

1Brown chops in skillet.

2Spoon off fat.

3Meanwhile, in cup, stir together cornstarch and 1/4 cup water until smooth.

4In same skillet, combine 3/4 cup water, onion soup mix and sugar.

5Add apples, stirring to coat.

6Heat to boiling.

7Return chops to skillet.

8Reduce heat to low.

9Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until chops are no longer pink.

10Remove chops and apples to serving platter.

11Keep warm.

12Over medium heat, heat sauce to boiling. Gradually stir in cornstarch mixture.

13Cook until thickens, stirring constantly.

14Spoon over pork chops and apples.
