- 1 gal. pickles or small cucumbers
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 4 c. sugar
- 3 c. apple vinegar (dark)
- 4 Tbsp. pickling salt
Directions

1Slice pickles or cucumbers, peppers and onions.

2Mix in gallon or large container. In pan, mix sugar, vinegar and pickling salt.

3Heat until hot, about 5 minutes.

4Pour mix over pickles; mix well. Let set for 10 minutes.

5Put in containers. Cover and refrigerate.

6Will keep in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 months.

7Very crisp.
