- 7 c. gluten flour
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. water
- 2 rounded tsp. salt
- 1 or 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp. Savita
- celery leaves
- onion
- soy sauce
- garlic clove
- water
Directions

1Lentils need no soaking.

2Bring to a boil 3 cups of salted water and slowly add 1 cup dry lentils so as to not disturb boiling point.

3Cover and reduce heat to simmer.

4Cook for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until done.

5If cooked lentils need to be drained, save the liquid to serve as a base for soup, gravy or stew.

6One cup dry lentils yields 2 cups cooked.
