- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple in juice
- 1 (8 oz.) carton thawed Cool Whip
- 1 (4 serving) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 16 oz. frozen Sara Lee pound cake, thawed
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
- sliced pineapple for garnish
Directions

1Combine undrained pineapple, whipped topping and pudding mix. Let stand 5 minutes.

2Cut cake lengthwise in thirds.

3Spread 1/3 pudding mixture over bottom layer of cake.

4Top with second layer. Repeat layering, ending with pudding.

5Chill 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and garnish with pineapple slices. Serves 12.
