  • 1 lb. ready-to-eat chow mein noodles
  • 3/4 c. oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 8 dried mushrooms, soaked
  • 6 green onions, chopped
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. bean sprouts
  • 4 stalks celery, slivered
  • 1/2 c. frozen Chinese peas, sliced
  • 1 lb. green beans, sliced
  • 1 pkg. or 3/4 lb. charsiu, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vetsin

Directions

    Place noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

    Sprinkle noodles with 1/4 cup oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon sesame oil. Heat oven at 350°.

    Place in oven for 6 to 10 minutes.

    Slice mushrooms and other vegetables; stir-fry for 2 minutes in 1 tablespoon oil.

    Season with salt, vetsin and the remaining 1/2 cup oyster sauce.

    Mix the charsiu with vegetables.

    Stir in noodles and toss gently.
