  • 1 c. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 c. nuts

Directions

    Cook butter and cocoa in double boiler until it boils.

    Mix sugar and eggs together.

    Add cocoa mixture.

    Add flour, vanilla, salt and nuts.

    Mix well; pour into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Cover with marshmallows and return to oven to brown.

    Remove from oven and pour icing over hot cake.
