- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 1 Large Onion, Diced
- 15 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
- 15 ounces, weight Diced Tomatoes With Juice
- 2 cups Water
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 1 clove Garlic, Minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- Salt And Pepper
- 2 cups Elbow Macaroni, Uncooked
- Parmesan Cheese, To Serve (optional)
Directions

1In a large deep pot, brown ground beef.

2Add onion and cook 5 minutes.

3To meat mixture, add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, water, bay leaf, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

4Bring to a boil, reduce heat to a simmer, cover and let simmer 25 minutes.

5Add uncooked macaroni cover and simmer an additional 30 minutes.

6If getting too dry, add more water as needed.

7Serve with parmesan cheese if desired and a hunk of crusty bread.
