- 1/2 lb. each cubed beef, pork, veal
- 2 medium onions, quartered
- salt and pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup or tomato paste
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. real cooking wine
- 1 garlic clove (optional)
- 1 beef bouillon cube (optional)
Directions

1Brown meat thoroughly in your favorite oil or grease.

2Add onions.

3Continue to stir until onions are glazed or turn yellow. Add spices (next 4 ingredients) to taste.

4Continue stirring and add only 1 cup of water and cooking wine.

5Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours and thicken gravy before serving with cornstarch and remaining 1 cup of water.
