Ingredients
- 3 lb. fresh broccoli or 3 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chicken seasoned stock base
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- 8 oz. herb seasoned stuffing mix
- 2/3 c. coarsely chopped walnuts or slivered almonds (optional)
Directions

1Cook fresh broccoli in boiling salted water until tender-crisp.

2Drain and chop coarsely.

3(Cook frozen broccoli as directed on package and then drain.)

4Make white sauce by blending butter, flour, chicken stock base and salt.

5Add milk and cook until thickened.

6Make stuffing according to package directions, adding nuts if desired.

7Mix.

8Put broccoli into greased 2-quart casserole dish.

9Pour white sauce over and top with stuffing. Press down slightly.

10Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes.
