- 16 cabbage leaves
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. dill seed or weed
- vinegar
- 1 tsp. Accent
- 2 c. cooked rice
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 1 or 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- sugar
Directions

1Steam cabbage in water to which has been added a little vinegar and sugar.

2Steam until you can easily take leaves from head. Save the water and steam or cook rice in this water.

3Mix meat, onion, seasonings and rice together.

4In each cabbage leaf, place a small amount of meat mixture and roll up, tucking ends in securely.

5Use toothpicks to hold.

6Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix tomato sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar together.

7Pour over cabbage rolls. Cover with aluminum foil.

8Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°.

9(You may cook on stove top instead, if desired.)
