Ingredients

  • 4 sticks margarine
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 2 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. candied cherries
  • 1/4 lb. orange peel
  • 1/4 lb. lemon peel
  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 1 lb. white raisins
  • 1/4 lb. almonds
  • 1/4 c. rum

    Mix all ingredients together.

    Line angel food cake pan with waxed paper.

    Pour batter into pan. Put 1/2 gallon water in pressure cooker and cook at 12 pounds pressure for 1 1/2 hours. Bake in a 225° oven for 25 minutes.

    Store in a cool place for at least 2 weeks.
