Grandma'S Rum Cake

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix (small)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Bacardi rum
  • 1/2 c. Mazola oil
  • 1/2 c. milk

Directions

    Grease 12-cup Bundt pan.

    Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pan. In a large bowl, mix well the cake and pudding mix.

    Add eggs, milk, rum and oil.

    Beat until smooth.

    Pour over chopped nuts. Bake at 325° for 1 hour, test with a toothpick.

    Cool 10 minutes, then remove from pan onto serving dish and prick top and sides with a fork.
