Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 6 to 8 c. plain flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt; stir to dissolve.

3Cool and combine with yeast.

4Stir in eggs.

5Gradually add 4 cups flour, beating well.

6Cover and let rise 1 hour.

7Work in remaining 2 to 4 cups flour to make a very soft dough.

8Cover and refrigerate overnight. May be kept in refrigerator as long as a week; use as needed. Form into rolls; brush with melted margarine.

9Place on greased cookie sheet.

10Let rise 45 minutes or until light.

11Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes, until browned.
