  • 1 pound old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 pound sliced almonds
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tsp vanilla

Directions

    In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, and add brown sugar, honey and vanilla. Continue stirring until the ingredients are melted and combined. Add oats and almonds and stir until coated. Spread it all into a large 10x14 baking pan with sides lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, stirring the mixture every 10 minutes. Cool, stirring every 10 minutes while cooling.
