Ingredients

  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 25 g wheat germ
  • 20 g coconut
  • 25 g walnuts (Chopped)
  • 20 g sunflower seeds
  • 15 g sesame seeds
  • 18 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 35 g brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon hot water
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 18 teaspoon salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 275 degrees.

    Mix first 7 ingredients together.

    Add the oil to the mixture and blend thoroughly.

    Mix the brown sugar and hot water together and microwave for 1 minute to make sure the sugar is melted.

    Then add the vanilla and salt to the brown sugar mixture.

    Pour over the oats mixture and blend thoroughly.

    Evenly spread the mixture on to a cookie tray or jelly roll pan and bake for 50 minutes.

    Check the granola after 20 minutes and mix it around with a spatula.

    Continue baking for another 30 minutes.

    Let it cool completely before storing.
