- 3 1/2 c. oats (uncooked)
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2/3 c. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. honey, syrup or molasses
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Toast oats in an ungreased large shallow baking pan in moderate oven 15 to 20 minutes.

2Combine toasted oats with rest of ingredients.

3Mix well.

4Press firmly into well greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.

5Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°) for 20 minutes.

6Cut into bars.
