- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup Golden Baker's natural cane sugar or other light brown sugar
- 13 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups granola
Directions

1Heat oven to 400 degrees.

2Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.

3In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt.

4In a small bowl whisk together the buttermilk, egg, sugar and oil.

5Pour liquid mixture into dry mixture and stir just until combined; do not overmix.

6Add granola and stir just until blended.

7Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.

8Bake until risen and golden brown, about 25 minutes.

9Carefully remove muffins from pan and place on a rack until cool enough to handle.

10Serve warm.
