  • 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 c. shelled sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. apple or pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 c. butter flavored syrup
  • 1 c. carob coated raisins
  • 1 c. banana chips

    Preheat the oven to 300°.

    In a large bowl, combine the oats, walnuts, coconut, sunflower seeds and pie spice; mix well.

    Pour the syrup over the oat mixture, stirring well.

    Spread the mixture in a single layer on a lightly greased jelly roll pan.

    Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Cool completely.
