- 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 3 to 4 medium onions, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of black pepper
- dash of nutmeg
- 1 tsp. thyme leaves
- 3 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- paprika
Directions

1Saute onions in margarine until soft and transparent.

2In a baking dish, arrange in layers the sliced potatoes and onions. Sprinkle with garlic seasonings in between layers.

3Bake at 350° for about 40 minutes.

4Add whipping cream all over top.

5Sprinkle with paprika.

6Increase temperature to 400°.

7Bake another 10 to 20 minutes until potatoes are soft and brown on top.

8Serve with broiled meat.
