  • 2 sq. chocolate or 6 Tbsp. cocoa plus 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter (margarine)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, milk, corn syrup and salt.

    Bring to boil. Boil to soft ball stage (232°).
  3. 3
    Add vanilla, butter and chocolate.
  4. 4
    Beat with spoon until candy loses its gloss.
