  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine or butter
  • 1/2 c. or desired amount nuts or raisins (optional)

    Mix all ingredients together in mixer.

    Spoon out on ungreased cookie sheet, allowing room for dough to spread.

    Bake at 350° until golden brown.

    Cookies will be soft and limber while hot, but will crisp up as they cool.
