- 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style green beans
- 6 bacon slices, diced
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 2 chicken bouillon envelopes
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Prepare green beans as label directs; drain.

3Place beans in 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Meanwhile, in a 2-quart saucepan, over medium heat, cook bacon and onion 10 minutes or until bacon is browned and onion is tender, stirring occasionally.

5Stir in flour until blended.

6Gradually stir in 1 1/2 cups water, bouillon and pepper; cook, stirring constantly until sauce is very thick.

7Gently stir sauce with beans; sprinkle with cheese.

8Bake 30 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbly. Makes 8 servings.
