  • 3 pounds fresh green beans (stem ends removed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon butter flavored buds or butter flavored cooking spray
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons crushed dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons slivered almonds, toasted

Directions

    Bring green bean to a boil in a large covered pot.

    Reduce heat and simmer until crisp and tender, 3 to 4 minutes.

    Drain. Toss with butter flavored buds, garlic powder and thyme.
