- 1 lb. skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1 (12 oz.) jar Ortega mild thick and chunky salsa
- 1 (4 oz.) can Ortega diced green chiles
- hot cooked rice or flour tortillas
- dairy sour cream (optional)
Directions

1In medium skillet, over medium-high heat, cook chicken, onion and garlic in oil until chicken is no longer pink.

2Add salsa, chiles and oregano.

3Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

4Serve over rice or in tortillas.

5Top with sour cream, if desired.
