- 2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies
- 1 lb. grated sharp Cheddar
- 2 large cans evaporated milk
- 1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. cornmeal
- dash of salt
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Arrange 1 can green chilies in 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Cover with 1/2 of grated sharp Cheddar.

2Layer last can of chilies over cheese.

3Layer the last half of Cheddar cheese over this. Mix the evaporated milk, eggs, cornmeal, salt and Worcestershire sauce.

4Pour over chilies and cheese.

5Sprinkle half of shredded Monterey Jack cheese on top.

6Over this pour the tomato sauce and top with the last half of the Monterey Jack. Bake at 350° until bubbly.
