Ingredients

  • 4 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1.5 cups sliced almonds
  • 1.5 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Optional: raisins, dried cranberries, coconut, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300.

    In a bowl, mix oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon.

    In a saucepan bring oil and honey to a boil, remove from heat and add vanilla.

    Pour mixture over oat mixture and stir with spoon.

    Bake on a large rimmed pan stirring occasionally until top layer is golden brown.

    Add raisins or cranberries if desired.

    Let cool before serving.
