Grilled Prawns

  • 1 pound prawns (16/20 count, shells on and deveined)
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

Directions

    If using wooden BBQ skewers soak in water for at least one hour.

    Mix marinade ingredients and soak prawns for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Set up your grill for Direct Heat and make a grill shield with heavy-duty aluminum foil.

    Arrange prawns on your BBQ skewers.

    Grill over Direct Deat for about 2 or 3 minutes on the first sight (rotate on the grill as needed to avoid hot spots).

    When they start to turn color flip on the grill and cook for another minute or 2 (be careful not to overcook).

    Remove from the grill and serve immediatel (you can serve with a dipping sauce if you like).
