- 1/4 cup Japanese soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 8 None whole baby squid, cleaned
- 1/4 tsp Lebanese seven-spice mix
Directions

1Bring soy sauce, mirin and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 mins, or until thickened slightly. Let cool for 5 mins.

2Add squid to soy mixture, cover and refrigerate for 30 mins.

3Preheat grill and oil grates. Grill squid until tender. Slice squid bodies thinly. Serve sprinkled with spice mix.
