Ingredients
- 2 firm, ripe, unblemished avocados
- 3/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 cup peeled, seeded, cubed red ripe tomato
- 3 pickled serrano chilies or any small, green hot tomatoes, finely chopped, about 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste if desired
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions

1Peel avocados.

2Cut in half and remove and discard pits.

3Cut avocados lengthwise into thin slices.

4Finely dice slices.

5There should be about 3 cups.

6Put one cup of cubed avocado, half-cup of onion and half lime juice into container of food processor or electric blender.

7Blend until finely pureed.

8Scrape bowl.

9To blended mixture add remaining avocado, remaining chopped onion, tomato and chopped chilies.

10Add more lime juice if desired.

11Add salt and pepper to taste.

12Stir to blend.
