- 6 guavas ripe, in fourths
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 cups milk
- baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
Directions

1Boil the guavas and cinnamon stick in water. Let them cool.

2Place in the blender and add some of the water they were cooked in. Puree until smooth. Strain and set aside.

3In a small bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in water.

4In a pot, add the milk, a pinch of baking soda, the guava mixture, the sugar, and the dissolved cornstarch.

5Place on the stove over medium heat while constantly stirring until it thickens.
