  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. chopped spice gumdrops

Directions

    In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add the sugar and vanilla. Mix in the flour, salt, walnuts and half of the gumdrops.

    Pour this mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle the remaining gumdrops on top.

    Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes until the top forms into a light crust.

    Remove from oven and cool slightly on a rack.

    Cut the bars with a greased knife.

    Remove carefully from the pan.
