Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. shredded gumdrops
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cold water

Directions

    Sift flour, salt and cinnamon.

    Mix 1/4 cup of flour mixture with nuts and gumdrops.

    Beat eggs until thick.

    Add sugar and water and beat again.

    Add dry ingredients to egg mixture.

    Fold in nuts and gumdrops.

    Pour into greased cookie sheet.

    Bake in 325° oven for 30 minutes.

    Cut in 2-inch squares.

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
