Ingredients: 2 c. sugar; 1 c. margarine; 2 eggs; 4 c. flour; 1 tsp. salt; 1 lb. orange slices; 1 1/2 lb. applesauce; 1 tsp. soda; 1 tsp. nutmeg; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 lb. white raisins; 2 c. pecans; 1 lb. mixed gumdrops; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1/2 c. hot water

1 lb. mixed gumdrops

Cream sugar and margarine.

Add eggs.

Sift flour and spices. Add applesauce to sugar and margarine, then add gumdrops (cut into small cubes).

Add raisins and nuts that have been floured.

Add flour to mixture.

Last, add soda and hot water and mix well.
