• 1/2 cube butter
• 3/4 c. sugar
• 1 beaten egg
• 2 c. flour
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. cloves
• 1/8 tsp. salt
• 1/4 pkg. gumdrops, cut in small pieces
• 1/2 c. nuts
• 1 c. white raisins
• 3/4 c. applesauce
• 1/2 tsp. soda
• 1 Tbsp. water
