  • 1 1/2 lb. halibut steaks or filets
  • 1 to 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • bread crumbs
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Directions

    Saut garlic in butter. Rinse and pat dry the fish.

    Coat in butter mixture, then in bread crumbs.

    Layer in buttered casserole; top with green onions.

    Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and Parmesan cheese with chives.

    Spoon over fish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes until fish flakes with fork.
