Ingredients

  • 3 halibut steaks-1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
  • Grapefruit Butter Sauce:
  • 1/4 c melted butter
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp marjoram
  • 2 c grapefruit sections

Directions

    combine butter, paprika, salt, marjoram and juice from sectioning grapefruit (1 1/2-2 tbl)

    place halibut on aluminum foil on broiler pan
  3. 3
    brush fish with grapefruit butter sauce
  4. 4
    place in preheated broiler about 2 inches from heat
  5. 5
    broil under medium heat until fish is lightly browned-5-7 minutes

    turn fish, brush again and continue to broil about 5 minutes longer-basting several times with sauce

    anout 3 minutes before fish is done-place grapefruit sections on top

    brush again with sauce

    to serve:cut steaks in half

    garnish with additional grapefruit sections and parsley if desired
