- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. long grain rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 can tomato puree or sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Mix thoroughly all ingredients; salt and pepper to taste.

2Cut core out of head of cabbage.

3Scald head of cabbage and remove leaves.

4Cut thick seam off cabbage leaves.

5Split large leaves in half.

6Put 1 tablespoon of filling in each cabbage leaf.

7Roll and place in pan with seam down.

8Blend 1 large can of tomatoes; add 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon wine vinegar and remaining half of puree or sauce.

9Pour over cabbage rolls; add enough tomatoes or water to cover rolls.

10Cut up unused cabbage and place in pan. Bake at 325°.
