- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
- 1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, cut in thin strips
- 1/4 c. thinly chopped onion rings
- 1 c. slivered leftover ham
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp. flour
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- dash of ground clove
- 1 1/2 c. light cream
Directions

1Prepare pie shell.

2Heat oven to 400°.

3Spread cheese strips on bottom of pie shell, then top with onion rings and ham.

4In a bowl, beat eggs, flour, salt, pepper and cloves until well blended.

5Stir in cream and carefully pour over ham and cheese. Bake 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 325° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center of pie comes out clean. Remove from oven.

6Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
