  • 2 c. diced ham (smoked)
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. diced potatoes
  • 1 pkg. frozen peas (10 oz.)
  • 1 pkg. frozen corn (1 to 2 c. or 1 can)
  • 2 c. whole milk, or more
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley, if desired

Directions

    Cook ham.

    Add butter and cook celery and onions until tender. Add flour and water.

    Add the potatoes and seasonings; cook until done.

    Add the frozen peas and corn.

    Cook only until done.

    Add milk and heat to serve.
