- 1 ham bone
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 2 stalks celery
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. Minute rice
- 8 oz. sour cream
Directions

1Place ham in enough water to cover it.

2Bring to boil; skim top.

3Lower heat to simmer.

4Add carrots, potatoes, celery and onion; simmer about 1 1/2 hours.

5Remove 2 cups broth and cool. Add sour cream to cooled broth and pour back into soup.

6Add rice. Cover for about 2 minutes.

7Serve.
