Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean beef
  • 2 (No. 1) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • handful brown sugar
  • 2 handfuls macaroni (or rice)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp. celery salt

Directions

    Brown beef, drain fat.

    Stir in all other ingredients.

    Simmer partially covered. Stir several times. Cook about 20 minutes.
