Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 celery rib, chopped
  • 2 russet potatoes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Directions

    Use a skillet on medium to medium high heat.

    Turn down burner to keep from burning if needed.

    Brown hamburger, drain fat.

    Add copped onion, garlic and celery.

    Cook until fragrant.

    Add peeled and chopped potatoes.

    [ Smaller chop cooks faster, larger chop will cook slower. ]

    Add water to cover.

    Stir occasionally as you bring to a boil.

    Keep temperature at low boil or simmer.

    When potatoes are cooked to desired firmness, salt and pepper to taste.
