- 1 lb. lean ground chuck
- 5 c. water
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 onion, quartered
- 3 to 4 carrots, sliced
- 3 to 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 c. English peas
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook ground chuck until brown, breaking into chunks (not crumbly).

2Drain any fat.

3In Dutch oven, add meat, water, bouillon and onion.

4Bring to boil.

5Add vegetables.

6Cover and simmer until potatoes are tender.

7Serves 6 to 8.
