Hamburger Stroganoff

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 1 (8 oz) can mushrooms drained, reserving 1/2 the liquid
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 (10 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 16 ounce sour cream

Directions

    Cook hamburger, onions and garlic until hamburger is done and onions are transparent. Stir in flour, mushrooms with reserved liquids, salt and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes. Add soup and simmer an additional 10 minutes.

    Stir in sour cream and heat to desired temperature. Do not boil. Serve over rice and/or noodles.
