- 2/3 c. light Karo syrup
- 2 c. white sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. oil flavoring
Directions

1Mix together in saucepan the water, syrup and sugar.

2Stir until sugar appears to be dissolved.

3Cook, without stirring, until 300° on a candy thermometer is reached.

4Wipe down sides of pan and add flavoring and coloring until evenly distributed.

5Pour at once on a buttered and lightly sprinkled with 10x sugar cookie sheet.

6As soon as it cools enough to handle, cut into small pieces and drop into a bowl.

7Sprinkle again lightly with 10x sugar to prevent sticking together.

8Makes about 1 pound.

9For each different flavoring, use a different food coloring.
