- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. oil flavoring and coloring

1Line pan with foil and butter.

2Ridge sides 8 x 8 x 2-inch. Butter 1-quart saucepan.

3Combine sugar, syrup and water.

4Bring to boil; stir until sugar is dissolved continuously.

5Cook until hard stage.

6Remove from heat; add flavor and coloring.

7Pour into prepared pan.

8When set around edges, take foil out and cut; work fast.

9Roll in confectioners sugar.

10Cut with scissors.
