Ingredients

  • 2 c. cultured buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. fruit juice
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 3 eggs, beaten

Directions

    Add soda to buttermilk, then mix ingredients and add enough flour to roll out very thin to about a 12-inch size.

    Bake on a griddle.

    Lefse can be softened by wrapping in a wet cloth.
