  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 2/3 c. Crisco
  • 3 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Mix, roll and cut biscuits as usual.

    Place one stick oleo in bread pan.

    Place in oven to melt.

    Remove pan from oven.

    Leave 1/2 oleo in pan.

    Use rest to spoon over biscuits.

    Bake at 375° until golden brown on bottoms and tops, about 30 minutes.
