- 1 can diced beets
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Drain beets, reserving 1/3 cup of liquid.

2In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.

3Stir in reserved liquid, vinegar and butter.

4Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles.

5Add beets; heat through.

6Serves 4 or 5.
